Job Description
Tasks:
Collaborate with the lead engineer to understand NPI program requirements and concepts, derive design scope and concepts, and break down requirements into manageable tasks in JIRA and Smartsheet
Actively help the engineering team in whatever way necessary to achieve its set goals – for example by technical leadership, rigor and process, work package organization, and, overall – clear thinking
Proactively develop, maintain, and communicate project plans to the cross-functional team
Manage product risks and changes throughout the lifecycle, identifying technical challenges and opportunities
Lead and facilitate design reviews, ensuring formal actions are tracked to closure
Understand fleet issues, perform root cause analysis, and facilitate design team resolutions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar) with passion in program management and/or several years of experience ideally with Renewables (Solar, Battery Energy Storage, Wind)
Strong engineering background, preferably in power electronics
Proven track record of leading and managing successful engineering projects
Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills – “go get the job done” attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Open and outgoing personality with good communication skills in English and German
