Job Description Summary
You will be supporting on site commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of HV/MV electrical substations apparatus & LV AC/DC systems.
Responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property.
This is a field operations role which requires frequent travel to domestic and international locations.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for performing on site commissioning, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and troubleshooting of HV/MV electrical substations apparatus
Perform Testing, Commissioning, and maintenance of LV AC/DC systems (distribution panels, Batteries, battery charger, Inverter…)
Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering
Manage and help Worker’s customer and/or switch on the site (LOTO)
Prepare progress reports, test results, non-compliance report
Annotating and editing drawings 'as built'
Participate in the drafting of technical procedures
Submit to external customers and internal technical documentation necessary for operation and maintenance of equipment. Provide information supplements as needed
Responsible for EHS site team compliance
Technical assistance to our sales specialist during customer visits
Double testing set as M4 and TDR
Omicron testing set as CT analyzer
Dilo gas recovery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Technical degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Electrical Substation or HV/MV apparatus or electrical engineering
Minimum of 7 years of field experience in Electrical Substation
Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
Have legal authorization to work in Canada and be aware that any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a pre-employment verification.
Desired Characteristics
Have good ability to interact and communicate with clients and workers
Advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic testing equipment
Fluency in English (mandatory) and French will be a plus
Knowledge of office software (MS Office Suite)
