Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop global learning strategy and instructional design to deliver engaging and impactful leadership development experiences.

  • Design and deliver programs that contribute to building a leadership culture aligned with our organizational values, 3 Core Themes and Long Term Strategy initiatives.

  • Proactively solve leadership "blind spots" and design innovative learning solutions that address the dynamic needs of our organization.

  • Align learning initiatives with our organizational values, ensuring that every learning experience reinforces and strengthens our cultural fabric.

  • Provide contemporary benchmarking of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into our learning ecosystem.

  • Lead and facilitate learning sessions that foster dialogue, understanding, and empathy, creating an inclusive and safe space for participants to share and learn.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement through facilitation that aligns with our long term strategy and leadership guiding principles.

  • Own learning projects from conception to execution, applying project management best practices to ensure successful and timely delivery.

  • Collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, communicating with varied audiences, and managing resources effectively.

  • Develop and implement metrics and evaluation strategies to assess the impact of leadership development learning initiatives on individual and organizational performance.

  • Regularly review and update executive leadership to ensure alignment with evolving leadership development and learning best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a Business Related field

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in instructional design and facilitation, with a focus on leadership development, inclusion, and high performance.

  • Experience in leading Global Learning initiatives

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Certification in Leadership Development or related areas.

  • Experience with inclusive design methodologies

  • Demonstrated success with learning programs for technical audiences

  • Familiarity with the latest trends and research in leadership development.

  • Knowledge of organizational development and change management principles

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $141,200.00 - 188,300.00 - 235,400.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% Aero Alliance Bonus.

About Aero Alliance JV

Aero Alliance, a joint venture between GE Power (https://www.linkedin.com/company/gepower/) and Baker Hughes (https://www.linkedin.com/company/bakerhughes/) , supports customers through the fulfilment of aeroderivative engines, spare parts, repairs, and maintenance services. Lean efforts and implementation, including full Aero value streams, have been driving enhanced customer experience at our facilities in USA, Italy, Malaysia and Norway.

Our Jacintoport site (L4 Shop) in Houston, has been in operation for almost 40 years and specializes in product repairs for LM2500, LM6000 and LMS100*. With a nonstop focus on quality and continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean and strategic investments in our people and facility, we strive to deliver the best service for our customers.

The new state-of-the-art Avenza Service Center (L4 Shop), located in Italy, has full capabilities for LM2500* – including the availability to do inhouse repairs for key LM2500* parts, and a hot section for LM6000. We will add a complete major overhaul for LM6000 by 2024. This addition will accommodate #Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

Our shop in Port Klang, Malaysia is strategically located to support customers and service a large fleet of LM2500* in the Asia Pacific region. Given its location and capabilities, this facility can support planned and unplanned maintenance, reduce repair cycle time and logistic cost for customers and offer modular replacement maintenance.

Our Lean journey has also been underway at our Kollsness Service Center in Norway where we have relocated a new heated warehouse with double the shopfloor space and have made tooling upgrades. With a hot section for LM2500* and testing capability for LM2500* and LM1600*, we target top quality repairs and service for our customers. The Kollsness team recently upgraded the cell to incorporate DLE units to provide additional capability.

The Aero Alliance team is focused on maintaining our high standards of safety and quality, delivering for our customers, and continuing to implement standardization at our locations in the USA, Italy, Malaysia and Norway.
