The Engineer will work along with a Lead to develop 3D models for Piping / major Equipment, Generate Arrangement, Detailed pipe Isometric & Support fabrication Drawings in AutoCAD , Support lead in Creating Project deliverables, standard Guidelines, & Tool/Program Automations to reduce the Engineering Efforts.
Job Description
Your Role:
The Engineer will be required to acquire knowledge on the Arrangement, Piping & Support Engineering basics of Two-pass SC boilers & WFGD Product Portfolio.
You will work along with a Project lead to deliver 3D models for Piping / major Equipment, Generate Arrangement, Detailed pipe Isometric & Support fabrication Drawings in AutoCAD , Support lead in Creating Project deliverables, standard Guidelines, & Tool/Program Automations to reduce the Engineering Efforts in Arrangement, & Piping Deliveries.
Required Qualification:
Completed BE/B. Tech., specializing in Mechanical engineering or Thermal/Power Plant Engineering from a reputed university.
Very good understanding of Engineering Design Drawings in Orthographic Projections & Isometric Design Drawings.
Good Understanding in Strength of Material Fundamentals & Load calculations.
Good Command in Microsoft Excel & Engineering Drafting Tool – Auto CAD.
Exposure to 3D modelling Tools such as AutoCAD 3D, PDMS/E3D & Inventor will be an added advantage.
Exposure in simple Programming in Excel, Visual Basic, Auto lisp & PML (programmable Macro Language E3D).
Minimal Exposure of database concepts, preferably SQL and MS-Access.
Excellent Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualification/Behavioral Know-how
Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
Agile in learning new concepts.
Collaborative & Able to work in multiple Teams with strong interpersonal skills
Open to learn cross discipline skills.
