Job Description Summary
The role reports to the Regional Leader Services for APAC to lead and manage a team of Engineers/ Technical Specilists across APAC with following responsibilities:
Job Description
Lead and manage a team of Engineers providing a HVS technical and engineering solution, site specific designs to GEV customers.
Conversant with Grid Service Maintenace, Overhauling Definitions and Scopes.
Acting as a Consultant and liaising with Tendering and Sales Team, Execution and Support Team, Field Services, Supply Chain and Sourcing.
Responsible for management of workload and Track efficiency while maintaining queue system for requests through Service Responsiveness and Other Tools.
Competency management of team, including technical and soft skills trainings.
Define and maintain boundaries of responsibility of Engineering role in line to GEV processes, and liaise closely with Quality, R&D, Field Service leader to provide a complete technical solution for customer.
Regularly Coordinate with Engineering Interfaces of respective GE factories and SER units to manage, obtain BOM, drawings, datasheets, contractual drawings, O&M manuals.
Manage Engineering tools, software, access for team.
Define, Maintain budget and forecast for the team.
Attend Senior level customer meetings for technical clarifications and explanations to support RFP responses.
Reuired Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering graduate or Equivalent, with atleast 10 years of prior experience with Grid products in Engineering, Field Service or R&D Domain.
Knowledge of various engineering database systems like Brain, AC1 configurator, Larsen etc. and tools such as Creo will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of SAP to work with Engineering BOM, Material master, stock checking.
Knowledge of Salesforce, Outlook, MS office.
Prior work experience on Grid High Voltage environment in a technical role is mandatory.
