Job Description Summary
General Electric needs an experienced mechanic for a hydroelectric power station, located near Kibbutz Reshafim in the north.
The role includes ongoing support for maintenance activities in the mechanical field, in accordance with contract requirements, GE procedures, safety regulations and state regulations.
Job Description
As part of the job:
• Responsibility for the integrity of the mechanical systems at the station.• Ongoing support for activity at the station, supervision of operational integrity and optimal efficiency of the station systems, reliability tests, planning and execution of preventive care and ongoing maintenance of mechanical equipment.• Execution of planned holdings of equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan and in coordination with the operating and safety factors.• Detection, analysis and troubleshooting of systems.• Work in a computerized maintenance system (maintenance management software - CMMS).Requirements:• Practical Engineer / Mechanical Technician.• Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic systems, rotating equipment - an advantage.• At least two years' experience working in a similar position, an advantage for working in an international company.• High level written and oral English and Hebrew.• Willingness to combine fieldwork with office work.• knowledge of office software in general and Excel in particular.• Ability to work under pressure.• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.• Full-time, readiness for readiness and bouncing if necessary, including nights and weekends.• The position is intended for both women and men
