Job Description Summary

Responsible to Lead, Manage & execute Services Operations for PT Service for APAC Region. Accountable to deliver Region financial forecast for Sales and GM to meet the budgeted plans. Reporting to the Regional Services Leader, you will be primarily responsible for leading all aspects of Sub region Project management teams, to manage sales execution from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and follow through warranty period. Project management includes Project execution, Field Services, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Process & Tools, planning, budgeting, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & testing and commissioning of PT Service Portfolio. In this role, you will manage a diverse workforce in organizations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, while delivering the forecast commitments.

Job Description

Responsible to Lead, Manage & execute Services Operations for PT Service for APAC Region. Accountable to deliver Region financial forecast for Sales and GM to meet the budgeted plans. Reporting to the Regional Services Leader, you will be primarily responsible for leading all aspects of Sub region Project management teams, to manage sales execution from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and follow through warranty period. Project management includes Project execution, Field Services, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Process & Tools, planning, budgeting, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & testing and commissioning of PT Service Portfolio. In this role, you will manage a diverse workforce in organizations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, while delivering the forecast commitments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Leads the PT Service Operations and Project management Organization for APAC region.

  • Leads Regular Project Management Financial Review process to deliver Sales, GM, oversee field service resource utilizations for efficiency, billings, and timely cash collection.

  • Ensures that Projects in the Sub Regions are managed according to the GE defined processes and assist Sub regions in project execution for large and complex projects.

  • Deliver the projects in uncertain environment and support projects managers to deliver the results.

  • Liaise with Central HQ Teams, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, factories, and quality organizations for regular reviews to ensure smooth project execution on GE SQDC principle.

  • Defines and develops Project Management tools to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of the operations.

  • Implement actions for Continuous Improvement to streamline the way we operate to drive productivity up

  • Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin

  • Creating and overseeing scope-specific work plans and budgets, alongside risk assessment

  • Leading Project Management Review (PMR) with Sub regions and to present for higher approvals.

  • Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook

  • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

  • Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stake holders on root cause analysis and resolution process

  • Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner

  • Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation

  • Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and proposes practical measures

  • To drive Variations Orders & supporting negotiating claims with customer & sub-contractors

  • Support Sales Teams on crafting deals requiring strong execution and minimizing risk.

  • Support tendering/engineering organization with Return of Experience

Main KPIs:

  • Financials (Sales/CM/GM/ Billing/ Cash/ FS Utilization)

  • Project delivery on time, within Budget & safety compliance

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Timeline accuracy for Project Sales and Margin

  • Variation Orders on projects

  • Customer Management e.g., Scope management, Complaints Resolution etc.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with more than 15 years of relevant experience preferably with Project Management Qualifications

  • Experience in team management and proven ability to lead & manage large scale projects.

  • Knowledge of Power Transmission Portfolio such as Gas Insulated switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated switchgear (AIS), Power Transformers, protection relays and Substation system will be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Smartsheet, SAP and Microsoft projects, Salesforce

  • Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate in more than one language would be advantageous.
