What impact you’ll make?
Lead and represent global direct material supplier development sourcing strategy for Small Parts & Raw Materials commodity group to maximize value of vendor base in safety, delivery, cost and cash. Define growth strategy via leveraging existing suppliers and identifying new suppliers to maximize a total landed cost-based competitiveness across all global sub-commodities for the Team.
Create and drive global strategy and different key enabler programs for Small Parts & Raw Materials commodity team as a Global Commodity Leader (GCL).
Job Description
What you’ll do
Develop existing and new supplier capabilities to maximize cost out, on time service level and quality
Map supplier capabilities to product sub-families to optimize target panel supplier list
Shape, Define & lead volume allocation growth to supplier base on a total landed cost competitiveness basis through vendor development programs
Maximize volume allocation for Best Cost Country suppliers for total landed competitively qualified products, identify potential leakages and drive mitigation actions
Identify and lead product qualification projects with cross functional Teams including Engineering, Sourcing Quality, Global Commodity Leaders above and beyond own scope
Build new product qualification pipeline for supply chain
Take the lead and own process improvement programs using Lean tools and Sourcing expertise to reduce cycle time and improve team efficiency
Lead competitive RFQ/bidding process to identify cost out opportunities when applicable
What you’ll bring
BSc/MSc Degree (Technical or Business preferred)
Significant experience in strategic global sourcing and previous Manufacturing/Sourcing and negotiations experience.
Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English language
Working knowledge of ERP Systems
Strong skills in MS Office Applications
Demonstrated project/program leadership.
Strong analytical, negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen.
Solid communication skills and presentation skills in English and Hungarian
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix organization.
Strategic and global thinker.
Ability to travel up to 20% of job (Asia, US included)
