What impact you’ll make?

You will report to the Site Materials Leader and will supervise and control raw material (direct and indirect) processes, warehouse resources and activities required to support production of gas turbine Components, Repair, Aero Assembly and Energy Services Business as well as Crating and Repair customer property handling with his team.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for scheduling, staffing, work, and equipment planning, required for the receipt, sorting, warehousing, inventory control, packaging / material movement and issuance of all warehoused items with direct and indirect reports.

  • Monitor finish goods materials Inventory

  • Set the yearly goals and objectives of the raw material warehouse and perform quarterly follow-up

  • Accountable for maintenance and update of computerized information systems used for inventory control, receiving materials, issuing materials and Packaging materials as related to the warehousing function

  • Coordination of warehousing activities with those of other departments, including Production, EHS, Sourcing, Finance, IT, PSI, packaging subcontractors, freight forwarders and routers

  • Support Production, Sourcing and Facility and Maintenance with reports

  • Manage physical inventories and cycle counting on raw and finish goods level,

  • Improve Warehouse systems and seeking for development.

  • Monitor effectiveness of packaging subcontractors.

  • Lead and control the Lean/5S activity in Warehouse

  • Lead process improvement projects

  • Continuous improvement of mistake proof solutions at the receiving/issuing processes

  • Maintain, improve, and harmonize Pull system based material issue (KAN BAN)

  • Maintain and improve VOI/VMI solutions

  • Integrate customs & receiving process

  • Budget planning and control

  • Improve warehouse performance report system

  • Control with his/her team overtime (comply with regulation and be cost effective)

  • Control MRP / supply chain driven activities to ensure financial compliance.

  • Act as a facilitator of the warehouse related Support Central Communities.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Significant years of experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment

  • Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge is a must
